Labradorite is a form of feldspar that is well known for its distinctive "flashes" of colour. Known as labradorescence, the colours vary from stone to stone, but can be deep purple, blue, green, yellow, pink, or even coppery.
Labradorite is found all over the world, with the best quality stones being found in Madagascar and Canada.
