Botswana Agate Tumble

Botswana Agate Tumble

Agate is a form of chalcedony which often includes intricate banding. Botswana Agate began its formation over 187 million years ago, when low lying African volcanoes began erupting lava, which seeped through faults and began dispersing along the lower ground. Over time, the continued eruptions continued to deposit several layers of chalcedony, resulting in the formation of the Botswana Agate.
