Vesuvianite (Idiocrase) Tumble
Vesuvianite and Idiocrase are two different names for the same silicate mineral.
First discovered in ejecta from the slopes of Mt Vesuvius, this mineral is typically shades of green, but can also appear more yellow or blue depending on mineral inclusions such as Copper. Vesuvianite can nowadays be seen in the USA, Canada, Siberia, Switzerland and even as far as Kenya and Tanzania.
