Orchid Calcite is technically a rock comprised primarily of Orange Calcite and Black Tourmaline crystals.
Calcite is a rock forming mineral also known as calcium carbonate. It occurs in igneous metamorphic and sedimentary rock and is considered to be a ubiquitous mineral.
Calcite can appear in a wide variety of colours, with some of the most vibrant varieties being found in Pakistan and Mexico.
Black Tourmaline, or Schorl is the most common variety of the silicate mineral Tourmaline.
